So excited this morning. Just received notification from Italy that my entry in the 30th annual Milano-Taranto has been accepted. For those of you who don’t know , this is a rally format recreation of the epic “public roads” 1000+ miles motorcycle race from the 1950s starting in Milano in the north to Taranto near the southern tip of Italy. Think Mille Miglia for motorcycles. Learn lots more on their facebook page at Milano Taranto Been planning, wrangling and scheming to be one of the only 200 participants (and very few Americans) get an entry since last spring. I’ll be riding this 1954 Moto Morini 175 Turismo. Now a lot of hard work begins, but if you are looking for me the first week of July next year, you’ll have to come to Italy to find me!! So stoked!
