Più lunghe, quest’anno, le tappe rispetto a dodici mesi fa. Un modo per celebrare i 75 anni dalla prima edizione della Milano-Taranto e sottolineare così gli sforzi , la grinta e l’impegno di quei coraggiosi ed audaci centauri che si misurarono nella corsa più lunga del mondo.

La prima frazione partirà come sempre a mezzanotte dall’Idroscalo di Milano e si concluderà, dopo 340 chilometri, a Vicenza. E’ la prima volta che la città del Palladio accoglie la nostra carovana, dopo gli arrivi a Bassano del Grappa nel 2008 e a Breganze nel 2009. Lo striscione del traguardo sarà posto in piazza dei Signori, cuore del centro berico, davanti alla splendida basilica realizzata dal Palladio. Un colpo d’occhio di rara bellezza e suggestione, vicino al teatro Olimpico e ad altri incantevoli monumenti. Prima di giungere a Vicenza, dopo aver attraversato nella notte la pianura padana, il percorso si inoltrerà lungo la sponda occidentale del lago di Garda, da Salò a Riva e poi salirà al Pian delle Fugazze, teatro della Prima guerra mondiale, prima di tuffarsi a Recoaro, Valdagno, Cornedo, Montebello e Montecchio Maggiore, il paese di Giulietta e Romeo.

La sera cena di gala nei saloni della Fiera di Vicenza che due voltea all’anno ospita la Fiera dell’oro, considerata la più importante del mondo. Le nostre moto non saranno di metallo pregiato, ma per noi rappresentano sempre dei preziosi gioielli.

La location, trovata grazie all’amico Emilian Barban, è la più indicata per assaporare la gustosa cucina vicentina. Tra una portata e l’altra avremo la possibilità di raccontarci le prime impressioni della gara.

La seconda tappa, tosta, lunga oltre 350 chilometri, ci porterà a Firenze, quartiere generale l’Hotel Sheraton che già ci ha ospitati quattro anni fa.

Prima di giungere nella celeberrima città d’arte invidiataci da tutto il mondo, passeremo per il Padovano e il Rodigino. Entreremo poi in Emilia a Pontelagoscuro scavalcando il Po, sfioreremo Ferrara e raggiungeremo Forlì. Poi svolta per Predappio, l’appennino, il passo della Calla e il passo della Consuma a 30 chilometri da Firenze.

La terza frazione, lunga 340 chilometri, si concluderà a Pomezia all’Hotel Selene, dalle parti di Roma. Emozionante l’attraversamento delle Crete Senesi, le soste a Barberino Val d’Elsa, Radicofani, Bolsena e Montefiascone, il controllo orario di Anguillara Sabazia e il passaggio lungo il litorale di Ostia.

Tosta pure la quarta tappa, Pomezia-Caserta, che di solito è di relax. Sono 340 i chilometri da macinare con transito ad Ariccia, Velletri, Anagni, e sosta a Ferentino dove troveremo ad accoglierci Massimo Datti e gli amici del locale Moto club. Il percorso toccherà anche Isola del Liri, Arpino, Sant’Elia Fiume Rapido, Gallo Matese, Pedimeonte Matese e Caiazzo. A Caserta, città della stupenda reggia imperiale progettata da Vanvitelli, quartiere generale al Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Venerdì 6 luglio sarà una giornata dura, con una tappa lunghissima, ben 380 chilometri, che dalla reggia casertana ci porterà al Sassi di Matera. Come sempre saremo accolti con simpatia e amicizia dagli amici di Montesarchio, S. Michele di Serino e Muro Lucano. Passeremo ancora per Tricarico e Grassano e timbreremo l’ultimo controllo di giornata a Montescaglioso.

Ad accoglierci, in piazza Vittorio Veneto, troveremo Leonardo Cascione e i soci del locale Lambretta club, sempre vicini alla nostra manifestazione.

Tranquilla, infine, l’ultima frazione, da Matera a Taranto, lungo la statale 7 che ci porterà a Laterza, Castellaneta, Palagiano e Massafra. Immancabili i ristori nella barocca Martina Franca, Ceglie Messapica e nella bianca Villa Castelli. Tutti insiemeproseguiremo alla volta di Taranto, passando per Grottaglie e S. Giorgio Jonico. Arrivo finale in viale Virgilio, di fronte al mastodontico palazzo del governo.

Serata con cena di gala e le immancabili premiazioni all’Hotel Delfino prima dei saluti di rito e l’arrivederci al 2013.

Dieses Jahr werden die Teilstrecken laenger sein als letztes Jahr, um auf diese Weise die 75 Jahre der ersten Milano- Taranto zu feiern und um an die Anstrengungen, die Courage, und Ausdauer der Motorradfahrer zu der zeit der laengsten Rally der Welt zu erinnern.

Der erste Abschnitt wird, wie immer um Mitternacht, in Milano am Idroscalo starten, und ueber 340 km bis nach Vicenza fuehren.

Die Stadt des Palladiums empfaengt das erste mal unsere Karawane, nachdem wir 2008 in Bassano del Grappa und 2009 in Breganze angekommen waren.

Das Ziel wird im herzen der Stadt, am Signori Platz aufgebaut sein, gleich vor der wunderbaren Basilika ( die allerdings nicht mehr als Kirche sondern als Rathaus gebraucht wird ). Eine selten schoene Ecke nicht weit vom Olympischen Theater und anderen wichtigen Denkmaelern. Der Weg nach Vicenza fuehrt, nach der Po Ebene, die waehrend der Nacht durchquert wird, den westlichen Ufern des Gardasees entlang, von Salò nach Riva und steigt dann nach Pian delle Fugazze, Schauplatz des ersten Weltkrieges, bevor es weitergeht nach Recoaro, Valdagno, Cornero, Montebello und Montecchio Maggiore das Dorf von Romeo und Julia.

Galaabendessen in den Hallen der Messe von Vicenza in der zweimal im Jahr die Messe des Goldes stattfindet, eine der wichtigsten der Welt. Unsere Motorraeder moegen vielleicht nicht aus diesem kostbaren Metall sein, aber trotzdem sind sie doch fuer uns kostbare Juwelen. Dieser Ort , den wir dank unseres Freundes Emilian Barban gefunden haben, ist der angebrachteste, um die Koestlichkeiten der vicentiner Kueche zu geniessen. Zwischen den Gaengen werden wir die Zeit nuetzen koennen um uns ueber die ersten Eindruecke des Rennens auszutauschen.

Die zweite Etappe, hart und laenger als 350 km, wird uns nach Florenz bringen, Hauptsitz des Hotel Sheraton das uns schon vor 4 Jahren empfangen hatte.

Vor Florenz, die allerberuemteste Kunststadt, um die uns die ganze Welt beneidet, werden wir durch die gegenden von Padua und Rovigo fahren. Wir werden dann in die Emilia einfahren, in Pontelagoscuro den Po ueberqueren, Ferrara streifen und durch Forlì fahren.

Dann Abzweigung nach Predappio, der Appennin, der Calla und der Consuma Pass nur 30 km von Florenz entfernt.

Die dritte Etappe, 340 km lang, wird in Pomezia enden im Selene Hotel, nicht weit von Rom. Die spannendsten Orte dieser Etappe werden wohl die Siena Creten, die Stops in Radicofani, Bolsena, und Montafiascone sein. Danach die Zeitkontrolle in Anguillara Sabazia und die Fahrt entlang die Kueste bei Ostia.

Hart wird diesmal auch die vierte Etappe, Pomezia – Caserta. 340 km durch Ariccia, Velletri, Anagni mit Halt in Ferentino wo uns wieder Massimo Datti und die Freunde des lokalen Motoclub erwarten. Weiter dann durch Isola del Liri, Arpino, Cassino, Gallo Matese, Pedimonte Matese und Caiazzo. Uebernachtet wird in Caserta, der Stadt des beruehmten koeniglichem Schlosses, im Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Freitag der 6 Juli wird ein harter Tag sein, mit einer sehr langen Strecke, 380 km, die vom Schloss in Caserta bis zu der Stadt Matera fuehren wird. Wie immer werden wir herzlich von den Freunden in Montesarchio, S. Michele di Serino und Mero lucano empfangen werden. Wir werden dann noch an Tricarico und Grassano vorbei fahren zur lezten Stempelkontrolle in Montescaglioso.

Auf dem Vittorio Veneto Platz von Matera werden uns der lokale Lambretta Club und, der mit uns sehr verbundene, Leonardo Cascione empfangen.

Ruhiger zum Schluss der letzte Teil von Matera nach Taranto, der Bundestrasse 7 entlang die uns nach Laterza, Castellaneta, Palagiano und Massafra fuehren wird. Nicht wegzudenken die Halte in der baroken Martina Franca und der weissen Villa Castelli. Den allerletzten Teil werden wir alle gemeinsam, in einer einzigen Riesengruppe fahren gen Taranto durch Grottaglie und S.Giorgio Jonico. Gesamtziel in viale Virgilio, vor dem riesen Regierungsgebauede.

Ein ereignissreicher Abend mit Galaessen und Siegerehrungen im delfino Hotel vor man sich schon wieder verabschieden muss aber mit „aufwiedersehen im 2013“.

This year’s daytrips will be longer than 12 months ago. This is a way to celebrate the 75 years since the first edition of the Milano-Taranto and to think of the efforts, courage and energy of those hero bikers that rode the longest race in the world.

The first fraction will leave, as usual on midnight, the Idroscalo of Milano and reach Vicenza after 340 km. The city of the palladio will welcome our convoy for the first time. We were in Bassano del Grappa in 2008 and in Breganze in 2009, but have never been to Vicenza. The arrival will be in piazza dei Signori right in the heart of the town, in front of the spectacular basilica ( that is no longer a church but houses town administration offices). It is a sight of rare beauty, near the Olympic Theatre and other important monuments. Before arriving in Vicenza we will pass, during the night, the Po Valley, then run along the western coast of Lake Garda, from Salò to Riva and climb up to Pian delle Fugazze, setting of the first world war, before going to Recoaro, Valdagno, Cornedo, Montebello and Montecchio Maggiore, the hometown of Romeo and Juliet.

In the evening the gala dinner will be held in the halls of “Vicenza Fiera” where twice a year the most important “gold exhibition” in the world takes place. Our motorbikes might not be made of gold, but they definitely are precious jewels to us.

This location, that we found thanks to our friend Emilian Barban, is the best place to taste the fabulous cooking of Vicenza. Between dishes we will have the chance to exchange the first impressions of the race.

The second trip, longer than 350 km, will take us to Florence, headquarters at the Sheraton Hotel were we stayed four years ago.

Before arriving in the most famous city of art, the envy of the world, we will pass through the Padova and Rovigo area. We will then enter Emilia in Pontelagoscuro, passing the river Po and Ferrara finally reaching Forlì. Then we will take the road to Predappio, the Appennines, the Calla and Consuma passes only 30 km from Florence.

The third section, 340 km long will end in Pomezia in the Selene Hotel, not far from Rome. Breathtaking views can be seen while driving through the surroundings of Siena, and the stops in Radicofani, Bolsena and Montefiascone. The day will end with the time control in Anguillara Sabazia and a drive along the seaside in Ostia.

The fourth trip from Pomezia to Caserta, usually an easy one, will be a hard 340 km driving through Ariccia, Velletri, Anagni and Ferentino where we will have a longer break to meet Massimo Datti with the local Moto Club. The route will touch also Isola del Liri, Arpino, Cassino, Gallo Matese, Pedimonte Matese and Caiazzo. In Caserta, town of the wonderful imperial palace designed by Vanvitelli we will spend the night in the Crowne Palace Hotel.

Friday the 6th of July will be a hard day, with a very long trip of 380 km, that will take us from the palace in Caserta to the stones of Matera. As usual we will be greatly welcomed by our friends in Montesarchio, S.Michele di Serino and Muro Lucano. Then on to Tricarico and Grassano to the last stamp control of the day in Montescaglioso.

In the central piazza Vittorio Veneto, Leonardo Cascione and the members of the local Lambretta club will be waiting for us.

Finally a quiet last section from Matera to Taranto, along the road 7 that will take us to Laterza, Castellaneta, Palagiano and Massafra. Also confirmed the refreshments in the baroque Martina Franca and in the white Villa Castelli. All together in one big group we will then proceed towards Taranto passing Grottaglie and S.Giorgio Ionico. Last arrival of the run in Viale Virgilio, right in the front of the huge government palace.

In the evening the traditional gala dinner and prize giving in hotel Delfino and ritual tributes, goodbyes plans for 2013.

本年度のミラノターラント・レースの行程は１年前のものと比べると長くなっています。

開催75回を迎えるレースは大胆かつ勇気あるバイカーたちの集中力・ガッツ・熱意にスポットを当て、世界最長となるコース上でみなさんの力を試そうとしているのです。

【第一行程】

例年通り午前0時にミラノ・イドロスカーロ公園からスタートする１つめの行程は340キロ離れたヴィチェンツァの街まで続きます。2008年度のバッサーノ・デル・グラッパ、2009年のブレガンツァの後、建築家アンドレア・パッラーディオの街として知られるヴィチェンツァが初めて私たちのキャラバンを迎えてくれます。

ゴール地点はこのベリーカの街のチェントロ、心臓部に建つ華麗なパッラーディオ様式の聖堂（現在は教会ではなく自治体の事務所として使用）の目の前に位置するシニョーリ広場Piazza dei Signoriです。オリンピコ劇場teatro Olimpicoも近く、周囲のその他の素晴らしいモニュメントと共に類まれな美しさと魅力で皆さんの目を奪うことでしょう。

ヴィチェンツァ到着前、パダーナ平野での夜を過ごしたあと、コースはガルダ湖西岸沿いの道へと続いていきます。次にサロからリーヴァ、そして第一次世界大戦の舞台となったフガッツェ平原を登ったあと、レコアーロ、ヴァルダーニョ、コルネード、モンテベッロ、さらにロミオとジュリエットの街であるモンテッキオ・マッジョーレへと下って行きます。

夕食は年に2回開催される世界最大規模の貴金属見本市の会場ともなるヴィチェンツァ見本市会場のホールを利用して開催されます。バイクは貴金属ではありませんが、私たちバイカーにとってみれば、高価な宝石のようなものであると言えるのではないでしょうか。

ここでは私たちの友人・エミリアーノ・バルバンの協力によりヴィチェンツァ料理を堪能するのに最適なレストランサービスとロケーションを見つけることができました。料理が運ばれてくるごとに第一日目のレースの印象について、お互いに会話が弾むことでしょう。

【第二行程】

二つ目の行程は350キロを超える厳しいコースとなります。4年前にも私たちの宿泊地となったシェラトンホテルがあるフィレンツェの地区までとなっています。

世界中から羨望の的となっている有名な芸術の街・フィレンツェに到着するまでにはパドヴァとロヴィーゴを通過します。そしてポー川を飛び越え、エミリア・ロマーニャ州のポンテラゴスクーロに入ったあとはフェッラーラを通り、フォルリまで到着します。

その後、ポンテダッピオを目指し、フィレンツェから30キロメートル地点にあるアッペンニーノ山脈のカッラとコンスーマの2か所を通過します。

【第三行程】

３つめの行程は約340キロメートルでローマ近くの街、ポメーツィアのホテル・セレーネまでとなります。シエーナのエモーショナルな粘土質の道のりを通過した後、停車地はシエーナの街・ラディコーファニ、そしてボルセーナ、モンテフィアスコーネと続きます。さらにアングイッラーラ・サバーツィアでタイムコントロールを行い、オスティア海岸沿いの道を走っていきます。

【第四行程】

４つ目の行程も難しいコースです。普通に走ればリラックスして走れるコースであるはずのポメーツィア・カセルタ間ですが、本レースではアリッチャ、ヴェッレートリ、アナーニと通過していく非常に体力を消耗するコースとなっています。

そしてマッシミーノ・ダッティが地元モト・クラブの友人たちと共に私たちを迎えてくれるフェレンティーノの街で停車します。

この行程はイーソラ・デル・リーリ、アルピーノ、カッシーノ、ガッロ・マテーゼ、ペディメオンテ、マテーゼそしてカイアッツォといった街にも触れながら、建築家・ルイージ・ヴァンヴィテッリにより設計された壮大な宮殿を擁する街・カセルタのクラウン・プラザホテルのある地区まで続きます。

【第五行程】

5つめの行程となる7月6日金曜日は参加者の皆さんにとって長い1日となるでしょう。

コースは約380キロメートルと大変長くなっており、カセルタの宮殿から石の街・マテーラまで続いています。例年の通り、モンテサルキオ、サン・ミケーレ・ディ・セリーノ、ムーロ・ルカーノの旧友たちが友情とシンパティアを持って私たちを歓迎してくれることでしょう。

さらにコースはトリカーリコ、グラッサーノと通過し、5日目最後の打刻コントロールはモンテスカリオーゾで行われます。

そしてマテーラの街・ヴィットーリオ・ヴェネト広場piazza Vittorio Venetoに集合し、私たちのレースに常に協力してくれている、地元ランブレッタクラブのレオナルド・カショーネとその仲間たちに再会することになっています。

【最終行程】

ご安心ください。ようやく最後の行程です。

マテーラからターラントまでの最終行程では、国道7号線が私たちをラテルツァ、カステッラネータ、パラジャーノ、そしてマッサーフラへと導いてくれるでしょう。バロック様式の街、マルティーナ・フランカと白いヴィッラ・カステッリでの食事は私たちのレースに欠かせないイベントとなっています。

そして最後は参加者全員が一丸となって、グロッターリエ、サン・ジョルジョ・イオーニコを通過してターラントまで到着します。最終ゴール地点はヴィルジリオ大通りViale Virgilioにある大きな建物、ターラント庁舎前です。

レース最終日の夕食と見逃すことのできない表彰式はホテル・デルフィーノで開催されます。その後、参加者の皆さんとまた2013年開催時にお会いできることを祈りつつ、ご挨拶させていただく予定となっています。
